Do you need Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)
The majority of us are deficient in essential fatty acids, particularly Omega 3s. The best sources for Omega 3 are ground flax seeds and/fish oil. How do you know if your child is deficient? Symptoms/conditions of EFA deficiency are asthma, ADD, bad temperment, bleeding gums, bumpy skin on face or back of arms, clumsiness, cold hands and feet, constipation, dandruff, depression, dry, rough, cracked or peeling skin, dry, oily or loss of hair, dry eyes, dyslexia or learning difficulties, eczema, excess earwax, excessive thirst, fatigue, food or environmental sensitivities, frequent urination, hair thinning, hyperactivity, lowered resistance to infection, lack luster hair, poor concentration, sinus problems, sleeping problems, weak, brittle or split nails.
